Then Folau sues RA and RA not only spends a fortune defending itself but has to pay out Folau's 4-year contract while Folau goes on to earn a second salary doing what he loves and Ralene gets fired.

Now Qantas has withdrawn its sponsorship and RA is looking going bankrupt while the players that remained silent are on roughly half wages.

If RA does go bankrupt it may open an opportunity for a less thuggish amusement to replace it !

AC- You've made my day. But women can be pretty tricky- so I wouldn't be lining up to trust them yet. And the laws need to be changed so that men aren't so badly disadvantaged. Some say there should be a government agency that protects men's rights.

AC I'm torn by your comments. Existentialists (Subjectivists also maybe Traditionalists) believe in being genuine. So I sympathize with the concept of cultural appropriation. But there is a difference between adopting elements of a culture for their merit and pretending that you are of a culture.

The worst thing in the concept of "cultural appropriation" is that most of the time, the people from the "appropriated" culture will be flattered that someone from all across the world likes their cultural heritage enough to, for example, buy a kimono or a full set of tajine dishes. The only insulting part is when rich, white people use it to make them look like they care so muuuuch about cultures from less rich countries while it's just a trick to make them look more "woke" to their rich, white fan base.
