But, in truth, I don't.

In fact I rather liked this bit. After sounding off about Jews in general the unnamed QANTAS flight attendant is quoted as saying:

"I'll tell you who is the worst, South African Jews."

As a South African Jew I take a perverse pride in that. If you're going to be a "pushy Jew" you may as well belong to the top ranking team.

I once explained to an especially obdurate executive at a certain Australian company: "We South African Jews from the Northern suburbs of Johannesburg are the most HARDEGAT of the lot. And proud of it."
