While I agree most of the latest anthropology on Oz Aboriginals is more fairy story than science or fact, some of the older stuff is a good mystery read for a cold night.

Newly found extensive structures built over 10,000 years ago, & evidence that things like the Spinx may be of similar age make interesting reading, & very good light relief from the troubles of today.
