Mr Downer reckons it's "a bit nutty" to suggest concerns over Russia potentially supplying uranium to Iran (without Australia's consent LOL). Anyone wanna txt Mr Downer and remind him they are building Iran's reactor?.

This is the quote of the week for me. Mr Downer comments on Russia....Russia wouldn't DARE break international law?...you mean, like we did Mr Downer?.

"In the same way we have nuclear safeguards commitments with other countries, it would be a breach of international law if they were to try to do that," Mr Downer said.

you can laugh at mr downer, but he is foreign minister: either crooked or stupid. actually, both. says something about the nature of a society that is ruled by such a person.

Russia has no interest in having a nuclear-armed Iran in its backyard. Moreover, Moscow historically has a good track record in terms of nuclear non-proliferation.

Downer is right not to be concerned.
