I reckon ScuMo is really P---ED OFF about having to leave Hawaii and return to Australia to seem he cares about the effects the bushfires are having. At least he will be happy to know that the fires have absolutely nothing to do with climate change.

Belly old mate you don't seam to understand fake news is a new phenomenon invented by the Democrats, & now copied by the rest of the left, particularly the UN.

The papers sited as evidence of pre 1900 temperatures were still simply news papers, not propaganda sheets of the left as today.

You failure to accept my challenge to actually read some of the history of Australian temperatures proves you are only interested in propaganda, & you know you could not handle the truth of those early paper reports.

Belly,

I have to agree with Hasbeen, there are plenty of reports - in newspapers, journals, diaries, etc. - of daily temperatures back as far as the invention of thermometers.

But more recently, it seems, different types of thermometers have been introduced, which means that all the 'old' measurements have had to be 'adjusted', usually downwards. So why can't the BoM maintain both forms of temperature measurements, so that contemporary (or is it 'contemporaneous' ?) comparisons can be made with earlier measurements ?

Just saying.

Joe
