engaged in criminal activity in Australia.
The question being raised about the deportation of
individuals who have little or no connection at all
to New Zealand, who for all intents and purposes have
grown up in Australia. These are the cases that the
New Zealand PM was raising. Australia's deportation
of criminals with no connection to New Zealand.
New Zealand does not deport Australian criminals back
to Australia if they've lived in New Zealand for years.
Our behaviour should follow suit. Otherwise as the
NZ PM pointed out - "It's not fair dinkum!
