Beg to differ Shadow Minister, and gee it is hard to write that while laughing
My thoughts on posting this link are to stay close to reality
Labor still has the word Socialist in its mantra, but tries to hide it
We still stand for fairness and equity in social welfare and all the things we formed for
But in reality the left, not unlike conservative right, stand in the way of us getting it done
Say the 10 percent the greens have [our refugees?] surely we know at the very least 40 percent [more like 80] will never ever vote for them?
Victorian left fighting for a man who BULLIES women, represent what? being extremely kind five percent?
Do they not understand they drive five times their number away from Labor
Labor and the center to right unions have a future, not in any way linked to the left of reality bunch

Belly,

I glad that you find the truth so amusing. That Labor MPs are clearly delineated alone left/right lines does not mean that Libs are. Some are economically conservative whilst socially liberal, whilst others are socially conservative and economically liberal and various shades in between.

Abandoning the labor left faction would leave labor in the wilderness.

Well SM it seems we did not launch, so as the thread dies let me launch
Labor suffers because of the true left and the Greens
People including your tribe, count us all as part of them
We never ever will be
Figures posted above should warn they can not, on their own, win a raffle even if they bought all the tickets
We must, truly, confront them, show seperation, true separation, or be the opposition forever

Dear Belly,

It doesn't pay to argue with some people.

Just sit back and watch what happens next
in politics. We're in for some very,
very interesting times. I've just bought
Nikki Savva's book. Can't wait to read it.

Belly,

I would guess that you are an old fashioned unionist that is more interested in living conditions for working people. That puts you at odds with all of those on the labor left faction for whom identity politics etc seem to be more important.

The reason that labor lost the last election is that they chased the noisy latte class left leaning city dwellers rather than their original base.

Foxy true but it has the unfortunate side effect of letting your opponent think he/she is right
Shadow Minister, my thanks, true honest thanks
You Prove my point, your mob waffle on with total untruths saying the left controls us
Your use of that weapon strengthens my case that being the very left are Labors enemy
We are under the control of the center unity [right] of our party
We share some, not most, of the left's concerns
But our four post ww2 PMs did not come from the extremes
Me? I seek true welfare reform, including an end to all fraud all not looking for work
Fair Enterprise Bargaining for all workers with a basic wage that is a living wage
Tax reform and ending tax avoidance
Bigger defense forces and capability to defend ourselves if need be
Infrastructure spending even if we must borrow the money to keep more water in storage in the drought areas and create jobs
