the unelected bodies like the EU and UN turn out to be very corrupt. Much of the gw nonsense and theft has been cooked up by these charlatans. I say drain the swamp.

runner while I may share the view the EU may crumble, we must talk about how it took place
France kept England out, for some time
To be honest countries voted on joining and wanted to do so
After we became aware it was much more than a closed trading block
Remember the warehouses full of beef butter and such farmers got paid to over produce, it became something else
Britex right now, may not take place, but it is powered by those rejecting one country type laws and other much more concerning things
I reject the thought any EU country was forced to join

'I reject the thought any EU country was forced to join'

Belly

Look at the number of sleazy international agreements that our pollies of both sides of the equation have signed up to without consulting the people. It is the 'elites' that have slowly signed away our sovreignity. How much say have the person on the street had a say over immigration, multi culturalism, idiotic climate deals. Ok if the people are stupid enough to vote to our own destruction fair enough. All the average voter is told at election time is that they will get a pay rise or higher standard of living. Our public servants and pollies then grandstand on the world stage and sign away our sovreignty.

runner it is brought about by world trade
Right or wrong we are stuck with world trade
Without it we are nothing
Mate extremes are never right
And extremist thought that leads to horrible things like yesterday live in the hearts of some who think they see things that aren't there
I doubt the EU is a good idea in its present form'
I think if some invisible group wants humanity to be one, on one planet not many countries, the should tell us
But I have nothing against FAIR trading world wide

The EU as a trading block was probably of advantage to Germany, France & the UK.

However when it's bureaucrats started dictating immigration policy, & even the design of electric kettles & toasters, it had exceeded it's usefulness, & become a communistic dictator.

It is always this when bureaucrats gain too much power. After all, if they had any real ability to judge future requirements they would not be bureaucrats, but entrepreneurs.

We have a similar, although much smaller problem here. The Yes Minister TV series really did predict the future. As people of lesser ability started becoming government ministers, our bureaucrats managed to get many dreadful policies up. We are suffering now from this problem, but no where near as badly as the UK, where EU incompetence is matched by the hatred of much of Europe for the UK.

Hasbeen again! I agree!
They said such things came about for safety reasons
Let this ham radio operator tell you that is good for the garden
They added to an already maze of wiring codes making it dangerous for some to fix an electric jug
Trading bloc yes one country never
