There seems to be a trend for legislation similar to the UK's laws
that make people liable if they say something that is Islamaphobic.
Now as Foxy has mentioned two men who organised the demo had
previously been convicted for decapitating a doll apparently adjacent
to a proposed mosque in Ballarat, or was it Bendigo.
So they must have denigrated Islam and or Muslims.
The act on the doll was a demonstration of a muslim practise I presume.
That hardly seems a proper use of police and the courts.
Were they fined and if they had refused to pay would they have been gaoled ?
If that is the case perhaps some of the comments we might make here
could result in similar charges.
Is that what Australia has come to ?
If so that demonstration was well justified.

Freedom of speech is definitely under attack.
It appears that the left has the support of government and we now
appear to have become suspect persons.

Hi Foxy, this thread has brought out the forums full load of crazed fanatics trying to defend criminals, and the violence of an extreme element within society led by the likes of Cottrell, Erikson, and now Mr 19 votes, Fraser Anning's name can be added to the list. Even the forums pair of odd ball happy clappers have taken to the posting, trying to defend the godless, how odd is that!

JayB must be that old hard line fanatic poster Jay Of Melbourne who though violence by the Melbourne Neo-Nazi brigade was justified, as a counter to the violence of the other extreme who were their so called "political enemies". The reality is their "political enemies" are a mirror of themselves, failing to gain traction through the democratic process, these malcontents then hope to be heard through acts of mindless violence on the streets, and at so called rallies of concerned citizens.
