Belly,
"ise miserable, yes if you say so, but it is you who avoid the truth like you are stepping around cattle dung in a sale yard. He seems not to have been a Trump supporter. You however are, and you walk around the pipe bomber, and many others, who tell us they are" I don't say so, others do, those not avoiding the truth. I'm not a Trump supporter although I did predict his election to the Presidency and I do watch his progress with some glee. What would I do with the caravan? Stop it at the border and let Mexico solve the problem; they are part of the problem anyway. Posted by Is Mise, Friday, 2 November 2018 12:00:01 PM

Belly,
You are the only one talking about Hitler and gas chambers. You are a sick puppy. Under American law the president is entitled to use the military where there is a law and order issue that local law enforcement cannot cope with, and 5000 to 10 000 illegal immigrants that intend to storm the border and swamp the border controls as they did in Mexico is just that situation. No one is stupid enough to suggest that they are going to shoot anyone, rather arrest them and detain or deport them. Given the number sending them there the day before with no planning would also be idiotic. Letting them through would be tantamount to opening the borders just as the moronic labor government did here. Posted by Shadow Minister, Friday, 2 November 2018 12:07:18 PM

The caravan has shrunk from 7,000 people to less than
3,500 and is still weeks away from reaching the United States. Usually if necessary the National Guard is called in to handle security problems that occur within the states and not the military. The question needs to be asked - is the US President using the military in this case for political gain, with the mid-term elections on the horizon? Another point regarding the Labor government - and "stopping the boats," needs further analysis. The link given below explains that - the federal government's claim that it "stopped the boats," has been called into doubt by analysis showing asylum seeker arrivals slowed dramatically after the former Labor government toughened its border stance, suggesting the Coalition "vastly overrated" its contribution. The analysis, by former Immigration Dept. Chief John Menadue and Australian National University migration expert Peter Hughes, shows the drop off began immediately after former PM Kevin Rudd announced in mid 2013 that asylum seekers who arrived on unauthorised boats would never be resettled in Australia. When PM Tony Abbott took power a few months later the flow of maritime arrivals was well on its way to being finished as a result of measures already taken by Labor, the analysis said, adding the Coalition's role, "was at the margins and vastly overrated." The following link is worth a read and gives more information: http://www.smh.com.au/politics/federal/did-tony-abbott-stop-the-boats-new-analysis-casts-doubt-on-claims-20150924-gitwfo.html Posted by Foxy, Friday, 2 November 2018 2:11:40 PM

'When PM Tony Abbott took power a few months later the flow
of maritime arrivals was well on its way to being finished as a result of measures already taken by Labor, the analysis said, adding the Coalition's role, "was at the margins and vastly overrated."' Oh Foxy so the calls by the abc and other swamp outlets calling Tony Abbott bigotted, racist and uncompassionate should of been directed to Rudd/Gillard! It was these 'bigots' who really stopped the boats. I seem to remember you were one of those accusers. Posted by runner, Friday, 2 November 2018 3:05:09 PM

He seems not to have been a Trump supporter.
You however are, and you walk around the pipe bomber, and many others, who tell us they are.
You not me, try to take the focus off the very real truth.
Trump, at best, is a bigoted racist.
Fueled by other bigots who, like him, see only what they want to see.
What would YOU do with the caravan of refugees?
Finally it is Trump who fuels hate racism and blindness in America, mass shootings are as American as mums apple pie
