I'm not going to argue with you. You are responsible for your beliefs and opinions. I would, however, like to point out that a plan for the way to live has been laid out for us for two millennia. It is not compulsory, but if you adopt other beliefs and values contrary to the plan, you have to accept the consequences. Although I don't think we can use the excuse that the SSM 'survey' was a complete insult and a total departure from what passes for democracy in Australia, I do think that, had there been compulsory voting, we would not have seen the Marriage Act changed to legalise deviant behaviour.
