Does anyone know if any persons have yet been charged over the raids on 4 properties in the Brisbane area where 56 dogs were found and several items used in the training of fighting dogs.

Almost 3 months have now past and one wouild think that persons would be charged with offences by now. At least the property owners would have some explaining to do.

As dog fighting is rare in Australia but common in some other countries, one wonders if some persons of our diverse multicultural immigration program are involved.

If no one knows, try the RSPCA they should be right on top of something like that.

Not sure it is related but saw a six month old terrier was used as bait in training dogs to fight, here at least those who have been caught are WASP hillbilly types should all serve about five years first offense

I emailed the RSPCA and the reply was 'As the matter is before the courts we cannot comment and will issue statement after it is concluded'

Other people before the courts have their names published, why not these? I take it one or more have been charged but the who, what, where and why remains a mystery.

cock fighting charges used to be an annual thing in the news, especially round Brisbane, but have not seen an article for a few years now. Perhaps they eliminated it or, more likely, the press do no longer consider it news.
