Australian Conservative's questioning in the Senate of a pro-Hizb ut-Tahrir imam's employment by the ADF has resulted in the the resignation of Sheik Mohamadu Nawas Saleem from his position.

Where the government should never have employed such a person, or at least sacked him when they became aware of his liking of an organisation proscribed as a terrorist supporter in most Western countries, Defence Personnel Minister Tehan could only come up with and acknowledgement of Saleem's 'contributions (whatever they were).

This has been another big clanger by the Turnbull government, which would have gone unnoticed without the vigilance of Senator Bernadi.

This didn't go across well either,
