DEMOS.. unfortunately for us, 'natural' man tends to be todays hero and tomorrows tyrant. I offer you... FIDEL. Che simply didn't have the life span to become another him.

Quevara went to liberate ? hah! The problem is, he did not liberate people from their human natures. How simplistic it is to think that one corrupt and self serving dictatorship will ever be replaced by a "pure and spotless revolutionary council" or whatever name the latest upstart decides to give it.

The problem (wait for it) is SIN. I'll say it again SIN. We are fallen, and without sanctifying Grace from above, we are doomed to repeat the same brutalities, selfishnesses, murders, and cruelties as those we seek to displace.

Sin, is the problem, and the Saviour, Jesus of Nazereth, Messiah and Lord is the solution.

Love divine all loves excelling,
joy of heaven, to earth come down.
Fix in us, thy humble dwelling,
all thy faithful mercies crown.
(Charles Wesley)

WOW..now those are lyrics !

I urge you to seriously consider Jesus, a man attested to us by signs and wonders, who gave Himself on our behalf, taking our sins on himself and who will return in Glory to judge the world.

Che came..and went.... and is not coming again. Yes, his memory lives in the hearts of naive followers, but in the final analysis, he was just one of many revolutionaries.

Judas Maccabeus was an earthly hero, defeating the Seleucids. (but the Romans came)
Jesus Bar-Abbas was an earthly insurgent, freed by Pilate when Jesus was crucified. We only know his name because of Jesus of Nazareth...

-"Blessed are the peacemakers"
-"Blesses are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, they shall be satisfied"

He and the disciples were crossing a lake, a storm came, "be still" he said.
They wondered "Who then is this, that even the wind and waves obey Him"?

Who indeed.

LOL DEMOS,

How does replacing the brutal Batista regime in Cuba with the even more brutal Castro regime constitute progress?

Is Castro the mass killer a better person than Batista the gangster?

Are the Cubans actually "liberated?"

If they are "liberated" why have so many of them died trying to reach Florida?

Why do so many Cubans flee their "liberator?"

Why does Castro the great "liberator" forbid free elections and opposition political parties?

Che himself seems to have been rather dim witted. Most likely Castro sent him off on a futile mission to "liberate" South America in order to be rid of him. Che was foolish enough to accept the task.

Castro is a killer-dictator and Che was a romantic half-wit. That is the reality. It's clear to anyone who takes the trouble to examine the EVIDENCE.
