Is Mise, as no one else probably gives a rats about this, I will bite, just like a feral cat. Mark Pearson represents a certain constituency within society, attempting to balance the lunatic fringe led by The Shooters and Hooters, who favor their feral constituency doing the work of the cat feral's, but with guns.

I personally have little sympathy for feral's in general, including all those mentioned above. I hope we are not going to have another discussion about guns. With you favoring guns for all, including five year olds, and I invoking memories of the crazed gunnie Turnbull and NSW's number one hunter Tony 'Wombat' Azzi. I hope not.

The most likely outcome is cane toads and cats are permanent. Cat pets will always provide new breeders. Zoos will hold increasing types of disappeared wild life and so the Oz small animals may end up there. Foxes , wild dogs and black panthers will find a balance with chooks , livestock and edible cats.

Apparently he's also a big fan of phasing out native Australian wildlife. He'd have to be, if he's such a big fan of cats. They should rename themselves the 'Protection for Cute Little Kitty-Cats but Bugger all the Other Animals Party'.

Why can't we just use biological warfare on the bastards (the cats, not the weird sick ailurophilics - although....)? It's not a perfect solution, I know, because they'll eventually become resistant to whatever horrible cat plague the genetic engineers cook up - but then we could employ a different horrible cat plague. It's 2017, and we are quite good at genetic engineering these days. Surely we could win at biological warfare against some dumb animals?

After years on fish and chips a spear fisherman in Qld had his leg taken by a shark. Like bulls in Spain the fish are slowly learning. We may see schools of mackerel and bream moving in on surfers like piranha in Brazil. When humpback whales get a taste for shredded human the game's over.

Animal Justice MP Mark Pearson and any like him splits some of the lunar vote from the Greens.

The Greens also hold that introduced feral animals are now an indispensable(!) part of Australian wildlife and must be preserved. Examples of that could be brumbies and camels.

However there are many other ways Green left in particular roll logs in the way of preserving Australia fauna and flora and the successful and economic management of those. Greens for instance, are in denial of their own claimed sustainability policy, by also having an open door for boat people and immigration, demanding that Australia take the millions of overpopulation from countries where religious fundamentalism prevents the education and emancipation of women and the availability of birth control and abortion.

Neither 'Animal Justice' nor Greens take any responsibility for long term policy or even ensuring that policy is comprehensive, coordinated and can be paid for. They take the easy road of headlines and stirring, to gather votes from the young, uninformed and emotional.
