stunt would have been "coal" comfort for
the people of South Australia who suffered
through another round of blackouts on a day

In South Australia months of intermittent blackouts
have thrust the energy problem back on the agenda.
Hopefully, political games will cease and finding
solutions to the energy problems will come to the
fore.

Foxy the people of South Australia deserve not one iota of sympathy. They have voted in this crazy government, with their ratbag policies, time & again.

They have been happy to see their economy destroyed, & then live of other people's efforts, bludging on the rest of the country. The amount of other people's GST money, electricity & water poured into this failed state is disgusting.

I guess we can be thankful that their failure highlights for the rest of us, the stupidity of the Green Blob. Perhaps, but only perhaps it will enlighten,[like it] the rest of us in time to prevent the same disaster befalling the rest of the country, & our lights going out.

Between SA & Tasmania we can see exactly how bad Labor governments, wagged by their Green tail, can be.

It is a pity Pauline is not a bit more discriminating in her selection of candidates. However while we have a twit like Turnbull in the lodge, courtesy of wet Liberals, she is our only hope. I just hope she is tough enough to stand up to the green blob abuse.

What you don't seem know is that we have had a gerrymander in SA that has made it impossible for anyone except Labor to get into government, and stay there long enough to do anything, since Tom Playford's days. The Liberals have been winning over 50% of the vote for some time now , but staying in opposition, because Labor has had the AEC on its side with boundaries. At the next election it seems that the Liberals have a chance because the boundary changes have worked their way this time.

Not that a Liberal win will make much difference, in my opinion. The current leader is not worth a pinch of the proverbial. He is saying absolutely nothing about reversing the rewnable lunacy; and he doesn't have anything else going for him. Come to think of it, the Liberals haven't had a decent leader since Tom Playford, and there doesn't seem to be one on the horizon. Similar to the feds. A Liberal leader worth anything would have been promising to overturn the renewable nonsense every day of the week, but Steven Marshall is not doing this; instead, he whines about how bad Weatherill and Co are, but gives no indication that he and his tired old time-servers would be any better.

As well, there are enough of us still living in poor old SA to remember that a Liberal Premier, John Olsen, was the fool who sold off ETSA to the Chinese with a 'promise' of cheaper power.

Perhaps South Australians, sick and tired after 16 years of Labor, will give Labor the boot next time; but it will only be a well-deserved punishment. South Australia is unlikely to be any better off.

I suppose I should feel sorry for you ttbn, but while your lot keep trying to pinch all the eastern states water for your man made water sky lake down there, it is a bit hard.

Labor did the same thing here in Qld ttbn. Then the demographics of farm labour changed, & the Labors gerrymander is what kept old Joh in power all those years.

I didn't have all that much time for old Joh, but I used to laugh myself to sleep sometimes, after another Labor polly had complained bitterly on the late night ABC news about the gerrymander.

May I suggest you be one of the smart rats, & desert the sinking ship that SA really is, before it's too late, & any investment you have there becomes worthless.
