Kris swords were made of meteorite iron alloy and evidently one was used at Bourke in late 1200s ( ANU). A corroborree in NSW 1830s used twigs with Buddhist names representing vajra daggers also made of meteorite iron. The eagle deity of Melbourne threw a star at lawless people and remembered as a meteorite. It was a"dyte" like Yorta Yorta language "duta" and "Kulin durt" meaning a star. Old Javanese "dyuti" means a heavenly body .
