Here, some very good news. In OLO articles but shucks, you missed it apparently. Maybe not translated as yet into other languages (how many, you reckon?) and not available on the ABC's Q&A either, inexplicably,
<The urban/mainstream turn in Indigenous higher education growth By Joe Lane - posted Friday, 3 June 2016 In Indigenous higher education across Australia, degree-level and post-graduate commencement numbers doubled between 2005 and 2014, from 2790 to 5600. This followed a mere 57 % rise over the previous ten years. [tables not shown] In 2014, more than two thousand Indigenous students graduated from universities across the country, raising the total number of graduates to more than thirty-six thousand.> http://www.onlineopinion.com.au/view.asp?article=18275 Go the Murris eh? And what about the mobs outside of northern NSW and Qld? Anyhow, the women are into education but what about the men? Maybe that Professor with the two Honorary Doctorates in the federal Parliament could offer all of those fullahs some encouragement. What language should he be using and why? Not victim talk. That doesn't work. Posted by onthebeach, Tuesday, 6 September 2016 1:14:15 PM

Oh aye. Ye ken that when a bloke speaks Gaelic, he is gi'en a pat on the back for being proud of his cultural heritage, but when he talks in strange native gobbledegook, he has much shite heaped upon him for not assimilating into the language.
They're a strange mob, these Englishmen. Posted by Toni Lavis, Tuesday, 6 September 2016 4:33:44 PM

So 7% Aboriginals have a degree and about 24% others . That's cool but does it mean anything to you, beach?
Suicide means that cash investment is lost , and all that grog and pizza is too. Jails cost a bit they say and produce qualified crims who cost insurance profits in repairs to windows and cars. Drunk violence costs band-aids and aspros. Would you like foreigners such as hi-tech Chinese throwing a banana at you on national TV? Posted by nicknamenick, Tuesday, 6 September 2016 5:12:35 PM

The highest age-specific rate of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander suicide was among males between 25 and 29 years of age (90.8 deaths per 100,000 population), four times the rate for non-Indigenous males.
