If that is the case why did Morrison reject the sale of the Kidman station to a Chinese co?

Dear Phillip S,
It is my understanding that the politicians will be allowing the owners to break the assets down into smaller packages so that the eventual sale of this 1% of the Australian land mass to China will not attract national attention. Posted by Mr Opinion, Monday, 23 November 2015 1:08:17 AM

I have always preferred fried rice to hot dogs anyway. Australia's interests is very much in the Asia/Pacific region and not in Europe as we once thought, or in North America as many a conservative politician has lead us to believe. As a nation we risk much tying ourselves to the apron strings of the United States, both economically and politically.
Turnbull is working to re-position Australia in Asia/Pacific, after the disasters Abbott created with both Indonesia and China, and a few others. No longer should we find it necessary to check with Uncle Sam before formulating foreign policy, like we have done so often in the past. Just as he is getting the thumbs down with arch conservatives on social issues, note the reaction from that quarter here on this very forum, the same mob are going to be shocked and dismayed at the Turnbull governments new directions in foreign policy. I am afraid fellas Malcolm is not going to give you much to smile about in the run up to the next election, and after that he is going to have you positively mortified on a number of issues. We were one of the first to join the Asia Investment Infrastructure Bank. We also now trade with China directly with Yuan with no US $ conversions.
Everyone is sick of US power plays. Their central bankers have destroyed the world economy. The really big collapse is coming soon. Posted by Arjay, Monday, 23 November 2015 7:13:27 AM

Well Arjay, I know you believe the US runs roughshod over other
countries. I suggest you ask the Tibetans for examples of roughshod riding. Posted by Bazz, Monday, 23 November 2015 8:25:41 AM

Arjay said;
The really big collapse is coming soon. You might be interested the curves of oil production & consumption have come together. They are expected to cross either this month or next. It will be interesting to see the rate of change over the next six months. Watch this space. Posted by Bazz, Monday, 23 November 2015 8:30:12 AM

I'm very dismayed at some of the comments I am reading. I'm pro-US and believe in democracy, freedom of speech and free enterprise and so unlike some of you I don't care too much for living under the veil of China. But that's the path Australia's politicians and business leaders have been pushing the country for the past 30 years. I'm quite concerned that a lot of you don't seem to care if your descendants are left to live under the dictates of the Chinese Communist Party.

I agree with the essence of what you say, Mr. Opinion.

Emmm, interesting ! And should this indebted country of ours, with our new found brilliantly feisty Prime Minister, ever get attacked by a potential Asian enemy ? Who exactly will come to our aid ? The good old USA with all it's warts 'n faults and foibles etc., that's who !
God we're a bunch of idiots ! Posted by o sung wu, Monday, 23 November 2015 1:00:55 PM

"God we're a bunch of idiots"! you say o sung wu.
Well we sure as hell proved that when we somehow allowed verbal diarrhea Turnbull to become prime Minister. It is really shameful to have this clown running around motor mouth at full revs, in our name. Posted by Hasbeen, Monday, 23 November 2015 3:51:38 PM

The is the USA has trashed its constitution with the Patriot Act, NDAA and Obama's executive signing orders for more wars.
The assassination of JFK was a coup that brought about fascism in the USA. China is no great role model either but at least they are not pushing for a nuke war like Senator Lindsey Graham and inane John McCain. China and Russia are winning the peace through real production and taking control of their banking systems. When economies crash, central bankers and Govts push for war to distract the masses and make money selling arms. Corruption now pervades the West and we are in serious trouble. This is the best summation of global power plays I've seen. Michael Rivero is a must listen.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltYhHSTeIUo Posted by Arjay, Monday, 23 November 2015 7:11:14 PM

Dear Arjay,
I'm curious. Where do you get all of your ideas? Obviously they are not structured around an intensive formal knowledge of history, sociology and anthropology. Do you read a lot of conspiracy literature? Posted by Mr Opinion, Monday, 23 November 2015 7:53:36 PM

Seems like Mr Opinion needs to crank up his study of history and realise how corrupt our Govts are.
Malcolm Turnbull is the ex CEO of Goldman Sachs Aust. His interest is getting another derivative called the ETS in the hands of the bankers who will tax us for using energy. Remember the Murdoch press demonising Clive Palmer ? They thought Clive was a loose canon who might represent the people. That all changed when Clive had a meeting with Malcolm in a Chinese restaurant in Canberra. Goldman Sachs were the initiators of the ETS the new ponzy scam to feed their greed. Soon after this meeting Clive invites Al Gore to Aust, the global face of the BS global warming, thus the need for the ETS to screw us. Clive soon realised that helping initiating an ETS would be very profitable. Posted by Arjay, Monday, 23 November 2015 8:55:35 PM

Mr Opinion, Arjay is our resident Conspiracy Theorist, but in fact
what you must do is watch closely what he writes as there are some real gems in there. Posted by Bazz, Monday, 23 November 2015 9:47:00 PM

Dear Bazz (and Arjay),
Conspiracy theories make for good movies and novels but historians, sociologists and anthropologists will tell you that the reality underlying human socio-political behaviour is far more complex. May I suggest to Arjay that he enrol in a six to eight years full time program of university studies in those areas so that he can gain the knowledge necessary to make rational decisions about how and why things happen. Humans have always conspired. Read Shakespear.
Baltic Dry index is dropping off the charts. World Trade is plummeting.http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-11-21/global-trade-just-snapped-container-freight-rates-plummet-70-3-weeks This is the beginning of the big one and all the money printing by the Central Bankers will not save us. Whilst I would be one of the first to reject most of what Arjay offers up, I also disagree that taking courses in history, sociology and anthropology will provide the absolute truth on what is most influencing Western political agendas.
Mr Opinion says "historians, sociologists and anthropologists will tell you that the reality underlying human socio-political behaviour is far more complex", well doesn't that also suggest secret influences behind the scene (conspiracy)? The 'reality' Mr O refers to is not generally taught in school and we all know sociologists see the world through rose coloured glasses. Classic, Arjay.
>>China and Russia are winning the peace through real production and taking control of their banking systems.<< Russia's economy is officially a basket case. "Russia’s economy is teetering on the verge of recession. The central bank says it expects the next two years to bring no growth. Inflation is on the rise. The rouble has lost 30% of its value since the start of the year, and with it the faith of the country’s businessmen." http://www.economist.com/news/briefing/21633816-more-decade-oil-income-and-consumer-spending-have-delivered-growth-vladimir-putins "The economy is expected to contract by a whopping 3.5 to 4 percent in 2015 against bad, but not overly serious inflation of 15 percent. What's more, experts from the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, investment banks, government agencies, the Finance Ministry, Economic Development Ministry and the Central Bank — all predict the same thing: another year of moderate economic decline followed by a slight recovery and then stagnation for the foreseeable future." http://www.themoscowtimes.com/opinion/article/no-good-news-for-russias-economy/538862.html And your concept of China having control over its banking system also needs closer scrutiny... "Chinese banks are facing their worst year in more than a decade as they try to push bad loans off their books. Profit growth at Chinese banks slowed significantly during the first half of 2015 compared with the first quarter. The nation’s largest lender by assets, Industrial & Commercial Bank of China Ltd., reported net-profit growth of 0.6% in the first half from a year earlier. By contrast, its first-quarter profit grew 1.4% from a year earlier, while its first-half 2014 profit grew 7% from the same period in 2013." http://www.wsj.com/articles/s-p-says-chinas-banks-face-growing-risk-from-bad-debt-1442837903 But hey, facts have never stood in the way of your conspiracy-nut theories before, have they. Pericles; Russia is in difficulty with its economy mainly because of
the $US40 for oil. Russia has been having financial trouble for sometime and is expected to join Japan in a recession. As I said earlier you have to read what Arjay writes carefully but there is often a gem in there somewhere. Posted by Bazz, Wednesday, 25 November 2015 3:37:23 PM

The turning point of aggression towards Russia was when it took control of it's Rothschild controlled Central Bank. This was when Russia and Putin were demonised. They did not want to be controlled by the New World Order of central banking fascism.
Russia is in great shape compared to the West, since it owes little to the central bankers just like China. While there is internal debt their external debt is small and they are autonomous unlike all Western Countries who have debt from half their GDP to twice their GDP owning to these central banker criminals who create our debt from nothing. The downing of the Russian fighter is very serious business. The West is trying to goad Russia into WW3.The lunatics are mostly on our side. Posted by Arjay, Wednesday, 25 November 2015 5:06:26 PM

Mr Opinion ad hominem is the attack of those who have no logic or facts to back up their assertions. You have presented not logic or facts to the contrary of what I've presented.

Mr O, Arjay is not alone in what he believes to be the facts, I for one agree. True, the turning point of aggression towards Russia was when it took control of it's Rothschild controlled Central Bank. The latest shooting down of a Russian fighter over Syria by Turkey, with US backing which cannot be denied, as the jet crashed in Syria.Russia is very much a target of ISIS and the anti Assad rebels, who are being backed by the US It was a US missile used by the rebels to blow up a Russian rescue helicopter, killing one Russian. The rebels also took the two Russians who ejected safely from the fighter, their fate is unknown but were most likely murdered.

Dear Arjay,
The problem with conspiracy theorists is that the person and his or her position just happen to be coincident. The only compliment I can give a conspiracy theorist is that he or she comes across as being as smart as Tony Abbott and as educated as the Queen of England. Posted by Mr Opinion, Thursday, 26 November 2015 4:33:07 AM

Mr Opinion. If Royalty and Abbott are your role models then I fear for our civilisation.
People have always conspired. Just look at Tony. He is already plotting and scheming to get back his leadership. It almost never been in realm of theory. Conspiracies happen in increasing regularity. Those who have analysed history know how these elites think and act. They are devious, cunning and ruthless people. 42 false flags by our Govts they admit to. http://whatreallyhappened.com/WRHARTICLES/42falseflags.php#axzz3sYiH4tge Posted by Arjay, Thursday, 26 November 2015 12:01:49 PM

Dear Arjay,
You have totally miscomprehended what I have said. I'm saying that conspiracy theorists such as yourself are as smart as Tony Abbott and as educated as the Queen of England. Don't you feel proud to be rated amongst these people. Posted by Mr Opinion, Thursday, 26 November 2015 1:01:20 PM

Dear 579,
No one is arguing against that. What I say is that if one is going to criticise others then he or she should be prepared to receive criticism from others. Otherwise people like me will look upon them as bullies. Posted by Mr Opinion, Friday, 27 November 2015 7:31:29 AM

We all know how Australia's politicians and business leaders have been selling off the country to China since Hawke came to power but Turnbull is the first politician to come out and stand up to a US President for questioning it. It's China or bust now and buddying up with China instead of the US means that Australia is now well and truly on the road to becoming a Sino-Australian nation.
