It is my understanding that the politicians will be allowing the owners to break the assets down into smaller packages so that the eventual sale of this 1% of the Australian land mass to China will not attract national attention.

I have always preferred fried rice to hot dogs anyway. Australia's interests is very much in the Asia/Pacific region and not in Europe as we once thought, or in North America as many a conservative politician has lead us to believe.
