I believe 90% of television is trash. As a result, people have now moved to "things" like mobile phones and the internet for something to fill themselves with - and are heavily addicted to this - I would argue at the level of some serious drugs.

These people are putting themselves at severe risk, along with others.

I believe strong assistance is needed to see people better use their life in spiritual, recreational, family based, community and educational ways. I would also argue people should go back to the past, where this type of technology didn't exist at all - for the benefit and the health of the community.

Yes, television is trash. The problem of mobile phone communication maybe that people find their personal lives more entertaining than trashy television.

The real problem maybe that childhood learning and media news programming is limited to simple people stories: murders; crime; law and order; curing cancer. Skilled thinking and language skills are learnt from limited story telling good verse evil media stories.

Politics rolled over stories are heard often and I believe are ignored by many people.

Humans, I believe are becoming dumber as they become older. Technology leaves past generation behind.

A question should be that allowing governments to educate citizens, may allow citizens to be dumber than what citizen could have been if an independent authority controlled education systems and studying subjects.

If its not mobile phones & the Internet, watching contact sports must be worse.
