We all know the education model is broken.

So simply throwing money at something that is obviously broken is not the answer.

Nothing to celebrate here.
And nothing to surprise most.
Abbott,s commitment was solid.
But his words crafted to win an election now proved a lie.
Labor was ready to fall, Liberals unready to govern.

I worked in the Education Sector in Victoria until very recently (retrenched). The noise about Gonski and what deal was going to be struck to get denis the menace to sign was rather vocal. Teachers wanted it, those in the administration were rather keen too.
Now we see that Gonski along with several other ALP initiatives will be, 'reviewed' and improved. See also slashing budgets.
Political grandstanding and lying, and to generations of up and coming voters. Let alone those of use who already vote!!
BTW just how are Indonesia and China Mr Abbott, all going well??

Perfidious pyne and Phony tony have been exposed as frauds and con artists and along with their sterling ability to anger our neighbors and trading partners they have shown themselves unfit to govern and are well on the way to entrenching themselves as Australia's next "worst government ever" and that is without mentioning their propensity for theft of their entitlements or their deception re the "debt emergency".
