Please tell what was so bad in that reply. Of course many want to discredit it because many don't like the truth. You sound like you're one of them. There's truth & there is fact & the fact is that Nelson did speak truthfully. The other fact is that Rudd simply made a reply that he knew is is not as factual as the real truth because he needed a speech to make him look good in the minds of those who are confused about integrity.

The Indonesian coastline is many thousand of KM"S long . These people are not going to fill a boat from the same place twice. They do not use ports. If one gets intercepted it is luck, as these boats are timber it is very hard for radar to pick them up. It's up to airoplanes, and line of sight to know where they are.
