Hello Steve
Its certainly good to know you have an animal welfare policy and you support a fair go to farm animals. Its encouraging to See all other party`s which includes The Greens and The Dems One National and some inderpendants like yourself all supporting a better go for Australian Animals. I am not sure however I am the best person to promote "any" party Steve. Its our job to inform all people including parties of the facts and they go with it from there. In deed I spend a great deal of time bagging the parties who have turned their backs on their duty of care to Animals. I see you already have Animals Australia along with PALE and RSPCA. Its certainly good to see more people speading the word about this unexceptable situation. I would likewise encourage you to spread the word regarding The animals Australia Babe campainge, In particular Animals Australia have worked very hard on this issue and I am sure they will appreciate your support and sense common decency to Animals. PF
Hello from Taryn. Its good to be back. I really missed doing my little bit to try to help. Gee thanks! for the links. No I didnt know about them. Will you be posting on farming? I hope so. I read your comments on the last forum. Its so good to have a 'real' farmer posting comments. It must be frustrating having all your knowledge then having to read all the posts from people who dont know a thing. I brought a book on ebay on Pig Farming and I read it every evening. The only thing is I think its a bit pro intensive. I am not really sure yet but I think its leaning that way which is so! annoying. It is by H>G> Belschner`s Called Pig diseases- fully revised by R J love [ it says] Do you know it? It looks pretty old I think. The man died in the 1970s some time. Anyway its not the type of book I thought although I am trying to learn all the diseases in it. I figure if they had all that disease it must have been more intensive farming than free range. Do you know a good book I can buy? Are you still writing a book yourself? That was the last thing I read you posted before i went up North that you were thinking of writing a book. I do hope you can find time PF. It would be so good!. I thinks its just awful the way those people have still not changed the law. How could they leave those animals like that it makes me cry. What I cant understand is how they can just get away with ignoring the RSPCA. I will go now and look at your links and tell the others. I hope `your on there. Thanks Again PF Taryn Winter Posted by People Against Live Exports & Intensive Farming, Thursday, 3 May 2007 7:59:27 PM
