I am checking out this forum to see if it is suitable for someone interested in social justice for children with disabilities.

If she wished to open a topic can she attach a document around which a discussion may take place?

If not is perhaps anyone aware of a good Australian forum that would support this?

How many pages in the .PDF and what is the file size?

I think it will vary but generally not more than a few pages so I imagine < 1Mb per topic.

I thought there was a one off thing. 1mb pdf could be quite large depending on resolution, quality etc.

Have you thought about setting up a dedicated web page, should be a lot of free places on the net.

Could be wrong but I think most people would not read something that large unless it was a cause they were passionate about. Therefore the dedicated website would be ideal.

Sorry I could not help, if the person is really passionate about it they will find a way no matter what anyone says.

Yes, I had thought of setting up a Blog or similar for her but the problem is that she is not technically minded at all and asked for a simple solution so I thought about finding her an Australian Forum that dealt with Social Justice where the back-end was already in place.

Would anyone know of a Forum elsewhere where attachments are permitted?

I'm surprised our beloved Editor/Convener of OLO hasn't chimed-in on this one - either to suggest another suitable forum or to evaluate the possibility of a one-off article on OLO itself - the proposed topic is one of current and continuing significance after all, relating to NDIS and the upcoming Federal elections?
