For example if we get Canberra to ask the question "Is West Papua a trust territory?" at the Security Council or at the General Assembly, those bodies can get a neutral "advisory opinion" from the UN's court, the International Court of Justice. Indonesia would have no economic choice but to allow West Papua its referendum, the north of Australia would then have two friendly neighbours with benefit of West Papua's established mining revenue.
Liberating West Papua would also help Jakarta reform the TNI on a permanent instead of temporary basis as the TNI would be without hope of regaining its corrupt businesses in Papua.
