Nth Korea is like the teenage hoodlum who makes a real nuisance of
himself, but then one day turns up with a gun. He then gets treated differently.

It could be that North Korea will prove to be the answer to problems of global warming and peak oil. If they continue on in the same way they will trigger a nuclear response from the US. This will bring in China and a nuclear exchange will spread to include all the other nuclear powers.
The resulting devastation should depopulate the world down to the stoneage and the survivors (if any) will not have any worries about CO2 or peak oil ETC.
Problem solved.

Dear Robert,

Please do not be so optimistic - China has no interest getting into such mess. It will only be 2-3 bombs on either side, end of story.

Sorry to our author, you put up a very rational thread one a more caring group may have looked much closer at.
You got not much back.
But as been said we all may see a war come as a result of a lunatic owning a country.
With 46 million refugees said to be looking for homes around the world, a stunning figure from the UN, how many more if that war comes?
The pain of watching the country.s victims, internal and external, the south, it amazes me we did not treat the thread with more care.
And dare I say? concern, Australians have died in war there lets hope not again.

pepper you must consider is it wise?
Smoking the Lantana I speak of.
And claiming the rest of the world is nuts, then putting it in such words is not helping you.
Here in North Korea, and I bet every contributor knows and understands this.
A long used play acting that brings gifts of food and such, is no longer working.
We too, surely all of us? know China is not interested in millions of refugees fleeing to its boarder.
Not keen on the little fat fool but using him, as he uses them, to hurt if possible Chinas growing list of enemys/victims Japan/Philippians, and any one claiming owner ship of China sea Islands.
We badly miss treated this subject, ignored the very real chance it will become a front page event.
Last nights Doco, folk eating grass, empty hotels, living lie, this country will impact on every one of us one day.
