Notice that Hillary Clinton has said they will accept China as a world player if they play by the rules.China knows it can win by economic might but the West only has weapons since they have de-industrialised.

The West has not the man power or the moral high ground to win a conventional war with China,so a conflict by us will end in a nuclear confrontation.We are back to our old cold war games as military spending escallates and the masses starve.

The Chinese economy would collapse like a house of cards if sanctions were imposed by the West, martial law would be imposed and millions of dissidents and other restive folk would be rounded up and liquidated or imprisoned. The flaw in the projected scenario outlined by Tarpley and others is that they still hold to the idea of 'all things being equal", well all things are not equal, the Chinese Ultras could just as easily decide to do a Khmer Rouge "year zero", close their borders, starve 25% of the population to death and send everyone else back to toil in the paddies and mines. Chinese don't think the way Europeans do, they don't react in the predictable fashion on which these theories rely for credibility, it's a weird form of Orientalism on the part of outside observers since to a large extent it's still a closed society. What gets me about the Petraeus affair is that it took an affair to bring on a resignation from the CIA. Not years of the CIA interfering illegally in the economic and political affairs of other countries acting purely in the interests of corporate America.. but an affair.

The affair, as you call it, is a fiction, carefully designed and implemented in order to give Petraeus an excuse to leave his job with the US government, and join the NWO cabal of international banksters under Cheyenne Mountain, to help them subvert all those governments to their iron will.

It's the only explanation that makes sense, when you think about it.
