Turnbull has been urged to make up a new political party. Maybe that is what is needed.

I thought that was a great one.
"The Australian Centre Party"
Now there's something I could vote for.
Had to laugh when Rudd dismissed the idea based on their inability to determine who was going to be leader.
Should it be Rudd-Bull or Turn-Rudd?

579 Turnbull, Urged? Well one person on Monday nights Q & A? Do me a favour!
Tell your labour mates to get Rudd in as that has as much chance.
What we really need is for our corrupt and wasted government to just go to an election.

579 you would be far better not to respond to the rude postings of JBower.
It is a fact, polls show and betting against them is folly, 60% of Australians want Turnbull.
That has to be a lot of Liberal voters.
Good numbers want Rudd.
For what reason I will never know, but more prefer Gillard than Abbott, not saying much for him.
But not much for her, that 60% for Turnbull is about the combined numbers for these TWO WRONG LEADERS.
No need to form new party,s, return the Turnbull lead party to Liberalism.
And take the power brokers PTY LDT from Labor.

Now that's a good idea. Get the pair of them together to form a party of the pretenders. We could perhaps shove the not so independent independents in there with them. All the pretenders in together.

If they didn't kill each other, [& save us the trouble], we could at least consign them to the scrap book of history, or a propper scrap heap, hopefully.

We'd need a very big bulldozer to do the covering with dirt, these blokes will take some burying. They are each determined to cause as much trouble as possible, before they finally go.

Turnbull reckons he has had thousands of requests to form a party. A republican and a smart cookie. Abbott will continue to blunder, he has no other style.
The carbon tax has killed Toni.
Turnbull would have a generous share of followers, even before a vote is cast.

Yair but what would a new party achieve?

Oh, I see, that doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters is that we’d have a choice of voting for a different entity, which doesn’t have all the baggage that the Libs, Labs and Greens have burdened themselves with.

Hmmm.

Well, come on, policies and philosophies, that’s surely what it’s got to be all about. Now unless there is a new party with P&P that a reasonable portion of the populace are going to support, then what’s the point in talking about it?

A new party formed and led by Turnbull is not going to have anything new that would count for very much. In fact in light of his recent comments, it seems that he would take Australia down an even bigger-population-growth more-antisustainable-future path than the current mob of drongoes or opposition.

You are not happy with the other two parties so why not an other player.
The libs want to vote for a party with no policy.
The labs have policy but it doesn't suite the libs.
So they rather vote for a party without any direction.
Turnbull is a popular agent, and would be respected, by both lib and lab.

Pretenders?? I don't see how they consitute pretenders.
These guys will never form another party so it doesn't matter.

They do however, represent the much needed middle ground. All of the big problem solving solutions come from the middle. Turnball especially presents logical argument on whatever he talks.

Nuts from the left or right might raise ligitimate issues from time to time, but the real progress and solutions always come from the centre.

579,
have you been appointed Labor's desperation officer or are you just taking it on yourself. It has to be utter desperation to promote an opposition party member.

Comrade 579 when in retreat throws the phurphy....another party….and Turnbull to boot.

Well I have a new party DREAM TEAM for you sport, made up of current and past comrades of yours.
Granted you may have to wait until a few of your comrades get out of the klink, but it may well be worth waiting for.

PORTFOLIO:

SELF FINANCING… Eddie Obeid…Eric Rozenthal…Angela D’Amore…Ruth Webber…Gordon Nutall

CHIDREN AND YOUTH…Samuel Gamlin…Milton Orkopolous…Bill D’Arcy…Keith Wright

BLACMAIL and BRIBERY…Merri Rose…Andrew Theophanous

LYING and GOEBELIZING…Julia Gillard…Wayne Swan…Noel Marlborough…Richard Face

SEXUAL MORALITY (OVER THE AGE OF 18)…Craig Thompson…Peter Slipper…David Campbell

CAUCUS BITCH…Penny Wong…David Bradbury…Peter Garret

Yes comrade 579 the great thing about this team is that many of the portfolios are interchangeable as this lot have a wide range of talents that it seems are readily ignited by opportunity.
As for Turnbull, take him, put him next to Slipper.

Finally Belly my china, I have a DREAM TEAM for the ACTU waiting here, do you want to see it?

Turnbull will not leave the Liberal Party to create a new party, unless he is about to retire from politics, and i will tell you why. Before Turnbull joined the Liberal Party he wanted to join the ALP. That didnt work, so he went to the Liberals. If turnbull really had the interests of the Australian people at heart, instead of joining the two major parties he would have sought to have created a new political party back then, but instead, he opted to go with the status quo.

Is there such a thing as status quo; You have to crawl before you can walk. The door is open for political comment, never say never.
Turnbull, Rudd and followers from both sides, you have a formidable team, with no baggage.
Abbott is a bush-wacker, and as it stands we are looking at a hung parliament.

All this is just suposition it will never happen. As we get distracted from the real issues today- secret deals by the World TRADE ORGANISATION that will allow multi national corporations to have control of governments. They will contol the cost of drugs, seeds and economics within governments. There is no justice for citizens in future of a global government ruled by corporations.

Anyone that seen question time today, would be very concerned by the actions of the liberal govt;
They have no concern for this country what so ever. Question time is taken up by questions that can be dealt with outside of parliament time.
It is nothing short of a disgraceful waste of time.
The incumbent govt; is getting on with business, while the opposition is an absolute waste.

It's time for change after the liberals dirty defeat. Surely there will be revolt from the backbenchers. Grossly overstepping the mark, Abbott ,Pyne, and Bishop are a disgrace.
