What a wimp this Wilki guy is.

Notwithstanding the fact that in my opinion his agenda for pokie reform was wrong, he has just shown he is weak as water, as Julia has waved her big stick and he has bowed to her demands.

If I had voted for him I would be appalled.

Rechtub you make it hard not to find conflict with you.
Wilkie wants poker machine reform, I back him there.
He spat the dummy and walked out, because the red head, what is her name? told him the truth, driven by clubs self interest.
The wish to continue to milk the brainless.
And by conservatives even Labor back benches he would never get it up, even in the lower house.
At some time, his words today confirm, an election will be held.
No hung Parliament next time.
This is his only chance, greens, unable to see the same, are against it, so no change is likely to be the out come.
He has acted wisely not weak!

Thanks Ludwig.
This link backs the thoughts you and I have given.
It too, reminds us comments are not always right.
And not always considered.

Sounds like a gear up for a vote on asylum seekers.
Wilki has taken a next best option, and back in favor.
There is a viable tactic behind this.
All butch can see is a diminishing vote.

I wholheartedly support Wilkie's efforts to restrict pokie usage with all its associated social problems.
I flatly reject rechtub's assertion that Wilkie compromised because Gillard waved a big stick.
Andrew is an independent. He can only ever get anything done with the support of a major party.
He sniffed the wind and concluded that he had better take the deal Gillard offered because he knew he would get nothing from Abbott who will take the position on any issue that has been dictated to him by big money.
And the pokie industry is big money indeed.
