The labor power brokers must be spitting Chips, as their golden girl just takes one foot out to make room for the other.

It is no secrete that Tony Abbott is not the sharpest tool in the shed, yet, he continues to out poll the PM.

There was her ten minutes of fame (the first poll released prior to Australia day) until at least one of her trusty staffers went and ruined that.

It would appear the best chance the PM has of making any ground, is when her staff are on leave.

Meanwhile, K Rudd continues to loom in the background, reveling in all this, trying very hard to continually hide the smile on his face.

To think he was dumped in favor of this.

So how long will the faceless men, the string pullers of the labour party, put up with this and, as they despise Rudd, who else can they turn to.

There is the newly discovered movie star, or Bill Shorten, about as popular as a dropped pie.

Of cause they could always call an election and let the people decide, but their numbers are nothing short of appalling at present.

Then again, we could always hope that the independents were actually independent, but that's seems a long shot as well.

Your guess is as good as mine.

Meanwhile, we flounder along in anticipation of when and where the next stuff up will come from.

My tip is, dump both leaders, in favor of Rudd and Turnbull and let us have our say.

NOW!

Butch,
Have you taken leave of all your senses?

Rudd was a disaster for us, as was Turnbull.

Turnbull is a republican and a religous AGW advocate, you could hardy get a worse combination for getting rid of our money. The only thing Turnbull done was inflict us with those horrible light globes that was going to save the world.

I have not a real high opinion of Abbott, but for heavens sake do not wish Turnbull on us. The one thing in favour of Abbott is that he did save Aus from an ETS. That must count for him.

Banjo, can't say I disagree with you on that.

But clearly, something has to happen.

Rehctub, having a choice of just that 2 would be a recipe for armed rebellion for me, & I believe, over 50 % of the population.

You must remember it is only Labor & green supporters who want Turnbull. I'm damned if I know why they don't recruit him, & be done with it. He would be with folk of similar mind set.

Butch,
While ever Abbott tops Gillard in the polls there is no need to replace him. Unlike Labor, who seem to place ALL their faith in a leader, Liberal governments do operate with a Cabinet and is one reason for better outcomes. Rudd would continue to be a one man band and even more so after his deputy knifed him. Have you forgotten his dramatic increase in immigration and his vision of a 'Big Australia', His cow towing to the hyjackers on the 'Oceanicc Viking' and the total waste of the 2020 summitt.

Keep Abbott there as long as Gillard is, and if there has to be a change what about Andrews or Robb. Don't forget Brough will be back after the election.

The main aim is to oust the present mob and that means we put up with it for another year or so. Australia will survive, we are very resilliant, there will be better times ahead. With responsible government and rewards for those showing thrift and enterprize.

Doing it hard you blokes, parliament doesn't start for another week yet. So i don't know where your condemnation comes from. Abbott is the politician with the foot and mouth disease. The first thing he said for months and look what happens.
