Dear Lexi, understanding is not the issue.

I can't believe there is no activity on this thread.

Perhaps those who don't like the LNP have no argument about the topic as they to know why the LNP opposes many of labor bills.

the post cant get beyond the concepts you quoted

you say no
i say turn that into know

once people get the joke
just watch what tonies reply is the next time its used

his no means i know
and i still say no

the know issue was rebutted by ol barnaby
but many missed seeing the joke..especially albeneasy

[the bigger joke...the pot calling the kettle sleezy]
a no nuthin yes man pointing to one in the know

any joke he starts begins and ends with him
i just dont like him..

just like i could never 'get into'...that former foreign minester..that loves to wear womans apparal

some you begin to like..the more you know of them
others the more KNOW*..we chose to turn off

tonies no's..willl get the voter attention
just as kim beastlies yes's..failed to

the no has a long way to go
but his yes will win special points..
when he gets a special point...to make

he said we wanted him to oppose
yet did he say yes..to taxing smokers
even if re the brandname thing he did say know

time will reveal he often says know
when the sleepers only hear no

its not the juliar i hate
its the policies...and the alp
got just got to many police-sees

Dear rehctub,

I think that understanding is the key issue.

People don't often think things through.
Most tend to pick and choose what they read in
the papers according to their political affiliations.
They then tend to sing from the same hymn sheet.
We also have a communication problem between the
parties who implicitly or explicitly perceive things in
different ways. Finger-pointing has become an
occupational hazard - and most people are simply getting
fed up with it. The attitude that prevails among
some that - "The worst conservative isn't as useless
as the best ALP candidate," doesn't help matters either.
It encourages retaliation - and of course then the
entire communicaton process is lost.

Whatever happened to the days when politicians talked
to each other - and voted on good reforms - regardless
of who suggested them. We need trades training centres that
teach our kids a trade, apprenticeship training programs.
Yet Mr Abbott's relentless No, No, No, threatens every
good Labor reform to help working Australians and their
families. I won't go into further details here - suffice
to say - that the reason people are not responding to the
thread could well be - they're sick of the way pollies
are behaving in general - and if they don't stop -
they may be ignored altogether.
