Belly, there is not going to be any 'labor rebirth' as you put it. The truth is the conservative right hold all power within the party both federally and at state level, the infamous NSW right, you can see what they have done, they are not going to reform the party, that would mean giving up some power and control, and that;s the last thing they will do. These people are closer to the Liberals than they are to the left of their own party. I'm sure Julia is more likely to say "G'day Tony" than she is to say "G'day Doug". There is some great (wasted) talent on the left of the Labor Party, I'm sure they would be most welcome in a Green?/Labor left party.
Here is an idea from left field. At the next federal election The Greens should put ALP right candidates and sitting members last on their how to votes in marginal seats, whilst giving preference to Labor left people in seats they are contesting. in that way it will ensure the defeat of the Labor Government while returning the maximum possible number of ALP Left candidates. In opposition the left can feel free to walk away and join us. Good idea. What do you think?

Yellow Cake belongs in one place and that's in the ground. Don't dig it up - don't touch it. What happens to the waste at the end - are we going to take it back like Bob Hawke suggested. How stupid! Until a better energy comes along than solar and wind people should just go without. Nuclear energy is almost as bad as nuclear weapons. Very distructive in a long term way! The decision to sell to India makes me just as angry as selling it to anyone else. The labour government is full of idiots! As for the carbon tax. Don't compensate peoples coal buring electricity bills you dimwits - put that money into developing cheaper solar power or putting up the subsidy to help people access solar power.

You have to grin.
The greens over look it is just as bad in the place it is.
They will not look at some country's that have 200 power stations.
In the Morris dancing world of one unelected hug every one government they seek we are to go back to the caves.
No coal no Nuclear just enough solar panels to block out the sun.

All in all we are so very lucky, extremely so, that most Australians see them as I do.
I do feel sorry for police, searching near Nowendoc, while hoping they get the bloke.
I fear for their well being, some very strange folk in habit the scrub in the area.
Frightening one election day handing out HTV I thought briefly I was hallucinating as they marched past singing.
Save the Lantana or some thing.
