What do we think of this?

I'm in Western Australia and far removed from NSW state politics, but I do find it very amusing.

Imported from another country Australian politics is now at election time more about mud slinging than policy's.
Truth long ago became the lost never to be seen victim of elections.
And this is mild alongside the outright lies being told by both sides.
In NSW the night before last a new train ,stopped it had no power because a line carrying electricity broke.
It saw massive disruption and some foolish neglect by employees of state rail .
But press reports continue to ignore the train did not break down ,power was lost after a normal trip was stopped by a line break.
If it happened one day after the election the report would be much different.
America is no roll model for Australian politics, in fact this country once was happy to adopt the Westminster model, we would be better if we returned to policy's debate as election time comes around.

Not humorous, its pathetic really. Same for the WA situation.

We have a totally incompedent government in NSW and an oposition incapable of winning the election. John Brogden had it made, but threw it away by his stupidity.

Someone once told me that the only problem with Aus politicians is that we don't shoot enough of them.

They really need culling.

Banjo how then would you describe the other side?
The chances of them being elected are like me wining the pools without an entry.
How can conservatives express such strong views about Labor[often right] but not ask what has happened to conservatives direction in this country?
It s a side issue but after this win in NSW most seem to think the ALP will improve and govern much better.
Without conservative changes it may be for another 12 years.
