Anna should know [being a QLDer herself] and have taken some advice recently from the BOM or at least notice that the cyclone season has not finished, nor has the La Nina weather system finished.

Life goes on after cyclones and floods as all QLDers and NT people experience, however, I felt weeks ago, that it is far too early putting too much effort into re-building. Repairs 'yes' in order for people to get by until La Nina has disappeared for another 15-20 years hopefully at the beginning of winter.

Anna should be focussing at present on any additional preventative measures, in her role as Overseer, in decreasing the damage from another La Nina related Cyclone over the next few weeks, if at all possible. Extra sandbagging around major rivers, dams and creeks should be done along with definitely building or strengthening shelters that already exist.

Concentration on clearing all heavy debris lying around such as boats already damaged, caravans trailers and so forth in the event of any tornados or Cat 3,4 or 5 cyclones.

Taking a look once a week at the World Sat around Fiji and the Solomon Islands should be giving Anna some insight into not wasting Taxpayer funds on too much infrastructure too soon up there in Brisbane.

Best to undertake basic roadwork repair for our heavy trucks and carry out all of the main repairs and restructuring after La Nina has disappeared.
