Sea Shepherd's Gojira Hopeless Crusade

New game is a foot, who will win, I say the law will. I say that designing vessels that are not for the purpose of research must be pirate vessels on a mission.

Recently the ‘Sea Shepherd Conservation Society’ organization has produced yet another vessel called the ‘Gojira’, translated ‘Godzilla’ as some sort punt at the Japanese culture, this to become part of the Sea Shepherd’s fleet.

This time this non-government non-for-profit organisation spent $2.5million more than the cost of the ‘Ady Gil’ [Earth Racer $1.5million], totaling $4million from donations designed to evade detection like stealth bombers.

The ‘Gojira’ is Captained by Lockhart MacLean, Previously: First Officer of the Steve Irwin, Birthplace: France, Hometown: Canada, Wife: Barbara, a journalist and photographer from Brazil. Maclean is a Round-the-world sailor and environmentalist, who studied at University of California at Santa Barbara.

Australian I think not!, just stocking the vessel with Australians, to walk around laws giving these organisations the right to play in our waters, yet still evading the Antarctica Treaty, that clearly outlines such vessels must be on research projects to be within Antarctica or Whale Sanctuary [AWS].

As a reminder ‘The Australian Navy’ has every right to deal with research and associated vessels without government approval, because of ‘Gojira’ crew being Australian. Under the UN ATS Treaty [AT] whom we are members; interference with other vessels for the purpose of using hostility and/or activities including use of weapons within the Antarctica is illegal and seen as a breach of treaty.

Under ‘International Maritime laws’ [MSA] vessels under attack, with their own government’s authorization may seize, board and arrest the crew members under piracy.

Non-for-profit organisation's director ‘Jeff Hansen’ has clearly outlined in ‘Adelaide News’ and ‘MX News’ that his fleet “save 10 to 12 whales a day by blocking the slipway” [blockades and impeding slipways are illegal under maritime law], this time with the “Aim” to stop the catch quota of legally permitted whales authorised by IWC/Maritime in charge of seasons and permit catches, “this season”

Clashes using hand-thrown stink bombs, ropes meant to tangle propellers and high tech sound including visual laser equipment have been commonly used by such organisations, with the ‘Ady Gil’ becoming another statistic out of the last encounter.

In relation to whaling and their reproduction, Humpback Whales produces 6-8 young per year after the age of 10, it is estimated that there are 10,000-15,000 worldwide; Minke Whales give birth to 1 per year after the age of 2, it is estimated that there are 800,000 worldwide and Sperm Whales produce 7-10 per year after 10 years of age, it is estimated that there are 200,000 worldwide.

Through B grade productions of non-government non-for-profit organisations such as the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society would have you believe that the Japanese are not experienced fisherman dating back to the 12th Century with logic and calculators, that this culture doesn’t know the difference between endangered Humpbacks and the non-endangered variation.

Approaching vessels in National or International waters, with the intention to interfere and/or board without authorisation by ‘The Navy’ or ‘Customs’ is illegal under maritime law and can be seen as an act of piracy, via ‘United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea Acts and Regulations’ [Unclos].

Australia has the right to protect its coral and sanctuary within its EEZs [EEZ] and National waters, we have the right to also bring to justice citizens of Australia, that breach laws of maritime, with ‘The Navy’ and ‘Customs’ having the only right to deal with citizens and/or vessels of any other country.

Stop impeding on ‘Peace and Harmony’ via propaganda on the sea, evolve into men of diplomacy making use of ‘The Maritime Sea Authority’ [AMSA] and ‘International Whaling Commission’ [IWC] for the purpose of change rather than negative conflict.

If attacked (as they have been by the Sea Shepherd extremist/terrorists) the Japs would be within their rights to defend themselves without limit on the open seas, would they not?

Such defense could include firing on the eco terrorists, and sinking their terrorist/extremist ships.

The Eco-Terrorists of the Sea Shepherd should be terminated.

You certainly know how to blow hot air out your ass AL. This must be how Christan's view the world..........interesting. I guess its whales burgers at the house of David......what else is up for lunch AL..........penguin patties or fur-seal hot-dogs?

Some people will eat all if given the chance and the Sea Shepherd's roll is to see that there's going to be something left for future generations.

Does not your bible say.........two of each kind will be taken and the earth shall be replenished?

You must of missed that one AL:)
