Or.. "Do Liberals believe in free speech"
or.. "When Liberals eat their own offspring"

A sequence of events.

-Bill Orielly is invited to take part in 'The View'
-In the course of the discussion the issue of the "Ground Zero Mosque" came up and Bill says "Didn't Muslims attack us on 9/11?"
-Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar end up storming out...outraged.
-Later, Whoopi Goldberg is a guess on "On the Record" with Greta van susterain....where she says her outrage was because Orielly was saying "ALL Muslims attacked us".. which of course he did not say.

-This then becomes a rather large talking point in USA Media...

START Parenthesis
-Juan Willians is a political liberal and contributes to both NPR (National Public Radio) and the conservative Fox News. He gives a liberal viewpoint.
-He is the only male Black man on NPR.,
END Parenthesis.

-Juan Williams is invited to share on "The Orielly Factor"
-In the course of the discussion Williams shares that when he gets on an aircraft and Muslims on board in very visible "Islamic" clothing, he gets nervous. (Keep in mind the Times Square Bomber recently said "This is just the beginning of the Muslim war with the USA")

-Over 36 hours later.. suddenly Williams is TERMINATED by NPR in disgraceful example of cowardly shameful sculduggery.

-OH... just a minor point...George Soros (Very Leftist) has just donated 1.8million dollars to NPR to "fund 100 reporters, 2 in each state to 'cover' major events"

Any connection?

I read he gave a million dollars to fight the Fox network.

Seems the battle for left and right is heating up.

Indeed Raw..it surely is.

But when persons like Soros give such large individual sums of money...is it about 'left' and 'right' or about the individual and his lust for power?

Dear Al,

Perhaps it's just levelling the playing field - I mean Rupert Murdoch is not exactly a delicate flower when it comes to media influence.
Do you have any meaningful critique of his lust for power?

It appears the rules are malleable depending on which side of politics one stands.

Hi folks

Well Murdoch aside, the issue should be examined on it's merits.

I don't believe its a levelling of the playing field, one only needs to look at the ethics (Lack thereof) of MediaMatters and NPR to see this.

Williams is an exceptionally principled man... a very compassionate man... but NPR CEO mocked him with a flippant comment "Juan's feelings are between him and his (she almost said "God") err psychyatrist or publicist"

I don't see Murdoch in a 'lust for power' here as much as 'saving the USA' from itself. It is teetering on the precipice of Union/socialist revolution (the soft kind) and we only need look at Greece and France to see where 'that' road goes.

Democrats are self serving and pander to those communist Union leaders so they can get political contributions.. the Republicans have pretty much 'this' last chance to reform themselves and return to their core/conservative values (rather than keeping their dodgy, greedy based 'let them destroy themselves and the voters will choose us as we are' that have characterized their behavior for the past 5 yrs at least)

The Palin/Tea Party influence is helping there, but.. time will tell.
