I still trust the independents.
Think both of our party's may get their support.
But get your heads together think about our country.
Do a deal, get back into Parliament, work together.
To call a double election.
Clean out the senate the winner gets clean air and we stop minority's holding us to Ransom.
Thinking greens more than the others.
OH Tony you will need to tell us about your costings, but that should not stand in the way of strong government.

Belly, it is not the Greens that are or will be ‘holding us to ransom’, so to speak. It is the liblabs, with their intimate relationship with the vested-interest big-business lobby and their fanatical support of the ludicrous continuous-growth-with-no-end-in-sight paradigm.

I’ve got plenty of criticism for the Greens and I’m not sure that they are up to the task of keeping the antisustainabilityists honest, but they sure are a whole lot better than the Libs and Labs.

Hopefully the independents are similarly open-minded and unaffected by big-donation favour-buying vested-interest biases.

With the current political arrangement, with the Greens and independents holding the balance of power, we might just see the sort of changes in our political sphere that we desperately need, and would never get if either of the liblabs held the majority.

I understand a great number of OLO inhabitants are Greens.
But also, know this, they could have given us an ETS but voted it down.
I know in NSW before the era of self interest and stupidity Labor gave this state more national parks and public spaces than ANY government.
Also that Julia put big Australia on the back burner, but big business spoke of its need for cheap labour.
Look if you wish down your nose at me, but greens are not the answer.
I fear if Labor gets to govern, it may take decades to wash the green taint from my party.
Both party's do actually have conservation policy's, we get better out comes from the 85% than a 15% rump.
Look at policy's that thump rural Australia, threaten defense ties and trade then just to top it off call for an end to using coal?
Give it to Abbott if we must but do not sell us to the greens in the upper house.

Belly I like Bob Katter. He is passionate and honest.I think it will be good to have these independants remove some allegiance of both Liberal/labor to the large corporates.

We need a new Govt bank that creates the new currency for increases in GDP and inflation.Keating should never have sold off the Commonwealth Bank. That was pure treachery.Do not allow Asutralia Post to be sold off.A new Govt bank can use all this infrastructure of Aust Post to service the needs of Australians.

the Tarde Union movement have really let us down. They are only agency for elite groups such as Public Servants, mining etc. What have they done for workers on really low wages?
