They should be applauding corporate America for being concerned about affected staff and taking timely action:

If there was enough vaccine to go around giving some of it to employers so they could inoculate their employees would be uncontroversial. In fact it would be admirable.

But for a variety of reasons not altogether unrelated to an out of control tort bar there is a shortage of vaccine. I therefore fail to see why Citi etc should be favoured ahead of hospitals and schools.

Perhaps you can enlighten me.

Given that Citi et al have been less than transparent about their trading practices and the relationships between them and the rating agencies I should believe that, in this case, they will follow the rules because….?

When the annual vaccine for the flu is available it is usual for firms and government departments to get in quickly with orders. That is not because they are trying to jump turn or anything, just that they have a policy in place and staff whose job it is to carry it out. US firms would be the same.

Thank you for the link UOG. Until I read about the 30% and 50% supposedly well-informed anti-vaccine supporters, I figured I was one of the only ones who saw the menace in these evermore-scary 'flu vaccines, where those with the government or employer-funded opportunity to allow their bodies to be used as breeding-grounds for more severe strains of the virus contribute to the morbidity of the rest of the human population, as has become quite clear over this past decade in Australia since the first 'flu vaccines were marketed.

Where are the laws for a complementary tattoo on the forehead of all those who assist the evolution of more intensive varieties of 'flu so that us normal people can identify them in public places and close quarters such as trains or buses and keep a safe distance from these voluntary virus carriers?

Surely anyone who takes the time to engage the thinking brain will see what a self-indulgent betrayal of our own species the jab against such a mild illness is to the other six billion who can't afford to pay the pharmaceutical companies' ransom.
