Study the map carefully and see the proposed pipelines not only for Afghanistan and Pakistan but also two for Iran to make sourcing these energy supplies economically viable.
See what Ron Paul has to say here http://www.ronpaul.com/ scroll down to the third video "Ron Paul On Freedom Watch" Here Ron openly blames the US Federal Reserve for premoting wars for profit. He is the Congressman [a right winger] for Texas with a GDP of $1.24 trillion,24% bigger than Aust and not a word from our press.
Are we that stupid that we swallow this nonsense about the war on terror as being the prime motivator for waging war on Afghanistan and Pakistan? Hamid Karzai was a consultant for the oil giant Unocal and it is they who want to build the gas and oil piplines from Turkmenistan through his country and Pakistan.
Presently the US is looking for excuses to invade Iran. They could take their oil and have a cheap access through that country since it already has pipeline infrastructure. If Iran is a threat with even one proposed nuke, why doesn't Israel have weapons inspectors on its doorstep when it has over 100 nukes with missiles to deliver them ?
