SBS has recently screened yet another documentary on the world AIDS crisis.

There was an interesting twist to this one. When AIDs was first discovered among the gay community Christian evangalists in the USA, in a most unchristian manner, said that the problem should be largely ignored as the only people dying were those who deserved to die.

The same attitude prevailed with needle users.

It was only when the son of eiher Billy Ghrame or Oral Roberts came out with the age old line of "let he among ye , who is without sin, cast the first stone", that the attitude mysterously faded.

Unfortunatly it's on the rise again.
As AIDs affects increasing numbers of hetrosexual women the man bashers are raising thier voices about husbands, picking up AIDS from sex workers and then giving it to thier wives.
In fact it's the wives who consistently have the affairs and give the diseaseto their husbands.

And, once again, the whole debate is hijacked. The blame game will never save lives.

Looks like occult Karma kicking in because HIV/AIDS is rampant amongst the bretheran in the Bible belt. The stigma of diagnosis of members of moral Christian families is creating a generation of denialists who prevent doctors treating HIV as HIV or stemming the spread of the disease.
