Misleading media: Rudd Vs Costello poll?

Hi,

Since Rudd won the ALP leadership all media and news polls seems to compare Rudd Versus Howard

last poll showed 39 points to howard versus 36 points to Rudd.

I am wondering why there is no poll or articles comparing Rudd to Costello? This ongoing 'protection' might reflect badly on elections results.

Liberals should find out early enough what do they need to address in the Costello campaign.

Food for thoughts.

I don't think anyone expects Costello to be Prime Minister in this term. If he becomes Prime Minister next term, then they'll worry about him versus Rudd then. Of course, he might become leader of the Opposition next term too.

Costello will never lead, his time is past he never had the ticker to take it and will ever get another chance.
