I don't think your google link has worked. I totally support any campaign that will highlight to the public the cruelty of rodeos. They're a barbaric form of entertainment and should be banned completely. Posted by Bronwyn, Saturday, 31 January 2009 11:30:18 PM

Bronwyn,
Thank You for informing us about the links. The second one is FYI in case you did not have it. I was looking at the other link and anybody who can not see the fear and terror in the eye of that horse is without knowledge of animals . For the record I am a horse lady and it is unthinkable that the Premier Anna Bligh or Kevin Rudd and all the members of Parliment both State and Federal can sit back and not act. Also Bronwyn I would appreciate it if you would take this thread over. After the post refering to my late father the Sea Kitten thread I will not be able to Continue. - and Bronwyn all the best with your wonderful efforts.+ sorry about words in past. With QLD elections just around the corner we think Anna Bligh had best re think her position on cruelty to Animals.
As QLD public citizens we have watched for years many decent members of the public complain about cruelty to Animals at rodeos.
The following links may assist the Premier and leaders of the opposition.
It may also be very wise to remember these are every day citizens that are sick to death of both parties ignoring their demands and wishes.

Its been brought to our attention Animals Australia executive Wendy Parsons and Jeanie Walker, several months compiled video recordings of animals "being seriously mistreated" at rodeos, including one at Warwick, Queensland.
The footage shows apparently shows -
* Cowboys repeatedly kicking a collapsed horse;
* Electric cattle prods being used on a horse that was "too terrified" to leave the chute to enter the arena; and
* A horse being punched in the head.
The majority of QLD public are ‘angry’ about Rodeos Anna.
It would appear the Premier has no respect for RSPCA e as their official stand on these activities is they are AGAINST THEM.=

Anna are you aware that QLD Animal Activism has provided similar proof of utter Animal Cruelty for years. These groups combined make up a 'lot' of QLD citizens
Perhaps you should give that some consideration.
May I say from Women to another its extremely disappointing you seem to lack the leadership as a female to show compassion to Animals
