Over the past 17 years, Dr. Steven Greer and his team have extensively researched the most promising inventors and technologies available on the planet today. They have travelled the globe investigating scores of inventors, and witnessing an exhaustive range of technologies from the impossible to the miraculous. From this painstaking work they have narrowed their scope to a handful of the most brilliant inventors and the most promising technologies. Heretofore, these inventors have been valiantly struggling forward to bring earth-saving technologies out to the world. Usually, these committed and intrepid pioneers are operating with:

* Low budgets
* Very limited equipment in their personal shops
* Little or no access to other brilliant people to spur their thinking
* Frequent strong scepticism and outright ridicule

The mission of the Breakthrough Campaign is to bring the very best inventors in the world of sustainable, non-polluting, "free" energy together under one roof to achieve a very specific objective. Our ultimate goal is to produce an Energy Generating System for the home or business, which will forever transform the current energy paradigm. The charter for our inventor team is to create a free energy generator for the global general public that frees us from dependence on costly, limited, and polluting fossil fuels. Following are the technical description and performance criteria for this mission: Read on if you are an inventor or investor here: http://www.theorionproject.org/en/index.html

"earth-saving technoligies"?

That would be right:)

Invent more stuff and we will dig up more of the planet to manufacture it.

The problem with men is a heart problem.
They simply cannot live in peace with Creation or themselves.
They cannot obey Gods rules to love one another and the little animals.

Science got us a dying planet. It never stopped building.

Science wont save us in anyway at all.

An immediate return to the Holy Bible, to the Living God and His Savious Jesus Christ certainly would.

The devil sure had fun with science!

Hope you keep your light turned off tonight Gibo, how did you write this message anyhow? There is a coal fired power station behind all this you know!
If you were to read the site you would be very pleased with what has been found already, please do.

Do not let Gibo get to you I find your thread interesting and full of hope.
A ham radio operator I have some understanding of what you are after it will be done.
Only question is when?
If we look back just 75 years we had light only from Kero lamps or oil.
If we develop solar power just a little better it may be the answer, answers exist.
Gibo no offense meant bloke but you put more evidence that religion is needlessly invading unrelated threads.

After watching 2 minutes of "The Orion Project" I conclude that it is a confidence trick.
Energy from nowhere?.
I will not send them any of my money.
The makers of over unity energy devices have had hundreds of years to come up with something that works but cannot.
They do not even speak in a way that would convince a scientifically literate person.
They seem to not have a clue.

eftfnc, you really know how to find them. Unfortunately, 'free' energy does not exist. We can have energy systems that are simple and low maintenance, but they are mostly low energy producing. But that is not what Greer is on about. He is following in the footsteps of all those who in the past believed in perpetual machines.

This is just an inventive way to part people from their money and you are helping him perpetuate it. I suggest you read the following to get an idea of why this won't work.

Agro, They are raising money to bid on an already existing technology patented by Stan Meyers http://waterpoweredcar.com/stanmeyer.html ,who got killed in suspicious circumstances. His twin brother got the systems and drawing including the buggy in which it was operating. The money is for research facilities and bringing various talented scientists/mechanical engineers together under the protection shield of numbers. Dr Greer has taken up that challenge as a springboard to greater things by thinking out of the box. He brought together a large pool of retired military scientists and engineers at the "The Disclosure Project" http://www.disclosureproject.org/
I do take this serious. Just one question: "What if you were wrong in doubting long existing covered-up knowledge?"
Go to a patent office and see what's buried there. (for obvious reasons)

Undidly, nobody is asking to Undo yourself.(pardon the pun)
Please explain to me where a scientist gets his basic knowledge and "ferreting capabilities" from.

Belly.
In the next few years the christians are going to be everywhere on christian subjects especially the Bibles endtimes.

http://contenderministries.org/prophecy/endtimes.php

Its going to become the norm and, really, it wouldnt hurt an old red Labor guy to hear about a bit more about God and His Bible.

Science killed a whole world.

It may have given electricity but it also gave nuclear weapons and all the earth ripping/tree chopping machinery that tears it all up and cuts it all down.

Only the naive and the deluded will seek Science as a way out.

Its not going to happen!

Caring for Creation will change things.

Loving the earth, forests and the animals that God put their would stop the insanity.

We need to stop converting Creation into dollars.

Gibo: << Only the naive and the deluded will seek Science as a way out. >>

Given that certain godbotherers are "everywhere" on unrelated subjects on OLO, perhaps it's time to remind you that most rational people think that only the naive and the deluded will seek religion as a way out.

Given the increasingly nonsensical gibberish you've been spouting lately, the term "rational people" clearly doesn't apply to you.

Gibo: "Love thy neighbour" is certainly NOT in your 10 commandments, as I am your neighbour who tries to love all neighbours. So stick-it where you can reach.Stick also to this very important and intelligent subject, please! (If you could?)
Great idea to show this to your mates who might just be catching on to this subject.

eftfnc, you mean he is a conspiracy theorist? Good luck to him with Stan Meyer's water powered car. For the concept to work, two of the laws of thermodynamics have to not exist. The original report is gone, but you might enjoy this report of his brush with the law over this car. http://groups.google.com/group/sci.energy.hydrogen/msg/8ee0acb80e943e21?hl=endc310437cd1cee1e7&

You need energy to convert water to hydrogen and oxygen and get the same energy back, minus the bits that get lost through heat and friction. Without an external energy source, this car will go nowhere.

There are thousands of useless patents in the patent offices. You don't have to prove your idea will work to take out a patent. It just needs to be novel. Most patents never turn into real products, either because they don't work, don't work well enough or are too expensive to make work. No conspiracy needed.
