I cant but help think you are not too far wrong.

Howard has a feild day at Labors expense and Labor just dont get it at all ..its so bloody frustrating.

Holyshadow, the labor blokes are so intent on impressing anybody, they just cannot see how unimpressive they are.
When the Labor Party got taken over by the academics and the union would be's, it disappeared into stunts and rhetoric.
The latest stunt of showing a picture of Howard with a lengthening nose is passe. It didn't work last election, it will not work this one.It is flatulent desperation.
The more they nag and rant,the less they impress. A bit of quiet dignity would go much further.
