Man I'm getting tired of whingers. Read ANY magazine, watch any 'news' show, newspapers, blogs, discussion sites etc etc and you'll hear nothing but moaning about rubbish. Since when did a racial comment turn into a "stop the nation" moment?. Mate, if the Indians wanna 'take their bats and balls and sulk off home, LET THEM, who cares?....really, who does?. Since when did ANYONE take Sam Kekovich seriously?. Gold Coast residents whinging cause they're still on water restrictions......YOU CANNOT BE TRUSTED. Shut it, and move on. Even when the SEQ dams are full I believe we should still be on restrictions. WE CANNOT BE TRUSTED, and I'm on tanks. Stop moaning about the price of fuel and do something about it. It does not take an "enquiry" to tell us we're being ripped off. We are, you know it and I know it...so does the government, but why would they slit their own throat and the throats of their mates?.

Please stop whinging. It's boring

I'm probably one of your whingers. I constantly complain about this over populated world because I cannot think of any major problem that we now face that is not directly or indirectly caused by either too many people or conflicting religion/tribalism. Every country and government is in constant competition for an ever higher "standard of living" when we live on a finite planet. We have problems now. You ain't seen nothin' yet. What happens when every Chinaman and Indian wants to drive a motor car? There isn't enough food in the sea or on land to feed our global population now, What happens when pollution and water scarcity and loss of habitat and increasing weather patterns play havoc with our way of life. Sure, there will be short ameliorating circumstances, but we have to have a global understanding and acceptance that these problems will escalate . So I'll keep whinging and hope other will too. Whinging sometimes alerts people to a problem.

"Whingers" is one of those terms conservatives love to use to put down progressives that are arguing for change because they see serious problems with the status quo. To be fair though I don't believe that StG is using it in this context.

Still, I'd prefer to be a whinger than complacent and apathetic anyway.

Personally, I put it down to excessive Pommie immigration.

(Just kidding!)

We all whinge. Always have. Think back to your childhood...
"I've got too much homework..." "Why are you always picking on me?"
"I hate school..." et cetera.

Daily problems present themselves which don't disappear. We all believe in democracy, love, respect, acceptance, individual differences, and personal uniqueness. Though magnificent, these concepts are too abstract and too large. They are like a
thousand-dollar bill - good currency, but useless in meeting mundane needs such as buying a cup of coffee, taking a taxi, or making a phone call. For daily life, one needs coins. We need specific skills for dealing effectively and humanely with minute-to-minute happenings, the small irritations, the daily conflicts, the sudden crises. All these situations call for realistic reactions. And sometimes the only outlet available - is to whinge. It creates a mood of contentment. It doesn't solve anything but as a temporary relief
it serves us well. And, a good whinge often relieves the pressure, especially if you've got a sympathetic ear of someone who understands your feelings at the time.

Mr Snake, well said.

We have all become bored, and with the great Australian dream, now only sits with rich. Hopelessness is spreading through out the human race like wild-fire. If there was only one hundred million people on earth, hardly anyone would be chatting on line,(except for how well we are doing) people would just be too busy with having a life!

So when did we turn into whingers!

If your from convict decent, I can start pointing some fingers.LOL
Just joking!

Without the whingers, what would entertain us?
