How is it that the PM will address heads of government, citing the attack on Helen Haines as an example of the rising threat of violence to democracy, whilst at home the matter is being treated as the tragic action of a fellow with a mental disorder? Why doesn't he cite things like the Bondi attack instead?

At least he isn't blaming One Nation's use of Bluey.
