None of that addresses the point I made, mhaze.
Australians supporting the US alliance, US bases and even believing the US would defend Australia is entirely compatible with Australians distrusting Trump. In fact, that distinction seems to be exactly what the poll found. Nor is it obvious why Australians are "in no position" to judge Trump. They've spent years watching his speeches, interviews, social media posts and actions as President. And if Australians are supposedly too misled by the media to form a reliable view about Trump, why should we assume they're perfectly capable of forming reliable views about net zero, submarines, foreign policy and everything else in the same poll? have the filthy harlots apologised for trying to gaol Trump on false charges? So many things the liars want to forget. You know like so called insurrection and Russian Collusion. I would not put to much emphasis on a Poll. Over 80% of Aussies were dumb enough to believe the clot shots were safe and effective. Tens of thousands now have attended funerals by believing the leftist grubs. I wonder if any olo posters were taken by the evil

MAGA died like a few months back.
Probably around when this song came out mhaze must've missed this years greatest hit Where Trump's America become an actual joke "Your government is run by pedophiles. They ordered you to die for Israel!" http://youtu.be/i0u_BNPOsMw Sing it mhaze, it's catchy. You know you want to. Posted by Armchair Critic, Wednesday, 24 June 2026 8:02:57 PM

"I wonder if any olo posters were taken by the evil"
All of them except me, I'm proudly jab-free. I think mhaze said he had to take if because of loved ones in care. I think it was a hard choice for older people though. In the defence of aged Aussies, anyone over 75 kind of had to weigh up whether covid might end them and were basically assured the vaccine was ok, the government backed the rollout, also some patients with RSV were being misdiagnosed and treatments with ventilators lead to more casualties I think, and they shouldn't have been jabbing pregnant women and kids, (if anyone) there were vaccine issues. After all this time do people believe the vaccine was a good or bad thing? Who knows. Posted by Armchair Critic, Wednesday, 24 June 2026 8:18:13 PM

Drunk on power America would sacrifice our nation just to get a losing war started, and then they would make a deal to save their own hides when the personal cost is too high, and our handmaiden politicians would be sucking their balls the whole way.

Only "38% say achieving the net zero target would leave the Australian economy better off,"
"41% were optimistic about Australia’s economic performance over the next five years." The lowest number since the polling began.
"68% of Australians said they were in favour of acquiring nuclear-powered submarines."
"37% said the current federal Labor government is doing quite a good job of handling Australia’s foreign policy." 24% thought it was doing a really bad job - double the number from 2024.
