Armchair Critic- I get that you want to save the world but you can't. And not with public money. Wisdom to know when you can't do much. Both sides think that by delaying resolution they will "win", so they burn their own people in the conflict. Maybe they think by delaying resolution the world will step in, in frustration, and give both sides a pile of money. I don't want to interpose myself on another nations sovereignty, because then they will interpose themselves on mine, but I'm not going to give them refuge for something that they created. As Ayn Rand says 'if the guilty don't pay the innocent do'.

Those that invest in an unstable world deserve to be destroyed.

I'm not going to accept foreigners bringing their conflicts to Australia. That at least we can control. I'm not going to accept Muslims into Australia if they can't leave their conflict at the door, no matter how justified their anger, (we shouldn't be accepting foreigners anyway but that's another question). If Muslims can't manage their communities then we need to do it for them, and manage the lot of them out of the country.

If they spent more time in productive activities and less time fighting they both would be better off.

Do you think it possible for the people of the Middle east to ever think of themselves as just people as most sane people do ? If you dressed a Palestinian & a Jew in ordinary Western outfits, would anyone be able to tell the difference ? They make a point of standing out that's the whole point !
There needs to be an international Law that states that the moment people settle in another country they need to shed some of the distinguishing traits that are the obvious start of conflicts. Don't be Jewish or Palestinian in Australia & all will be good. Sort out your crap back home !

- Under the IHRC working definition of Anti-Semitism you can't question whether Jews are more loyal to our country than Israel even though I'd make the argument that it's actually a matter of national security.

The only flag I really want to see in this country is the Australian one, but they can take the Union Jack off it and burn that.
I don't want us part of the commonwealth nor do I want us aligned with U.S. or pledging loyalty to Israel, and we should aspire to maintain neutrality.

I think one of the issues with immigrants is that they didn't grow up here, didn't go to school or get educated here.
I oppose the multicultural agenda, but I'm not necessarily against foreigners. I think the people already here should get to at least have some kind of say in who we wish to share it with.

And we shouldn't have to assimilate to the countries they came from.
It's they who should assimilate to the country they're coming into.
