Holy crap.
He actually added a link to the article in question. Round of applause for ttbn. I think she should go back to America and stay there. It's offensive to me that a foreigner holds this position. “Your expansive interpretation of Australia’s OSA [Online Safety Act] – including your claim of extraterritorial jurisdiction to censor speech outside of Australia – directly threatens American speech,” the letter says. “Global content takedown orders are concerning because they harm the free speech rights of those outside of Australia’s jurisdiction and set the precedent that other governments may do the same.” As I understand it, she is just policing what Australians watch, and every country has a right to decide this for themselves, it's not American Republicans place to decide what content people in other countries get to see. Dear America, Mind your own damn business. US House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary chairman Jim Jordan has collected nearly $80,000 from AIPAC and the Israel lobby. He's paid to put Israel First. http://x.com/TrackAIPAC/status/1808547550934544511 Posted by Armchair Critic, Wednesday, 19 November 2025 1:15:34 PM

Donald Trump scolds ABC reporter Mary Bruce over her questions about Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince, threatens to pull broadcast licence
http://www.skynews.com.au/world-news/united-states/donald-trump-scolds-abc-reporter-mary-bruce-over-her-questions-about-saudi-arabias-crown-prince-threatens-to-pull-broadcast-licence/news-story/cfda782d5d47d6069c3d362bc9ebd16d There's nothing for Innman Grant to answer to by the Americans. They are crapping on their own press and being a threat to free speech of Americans themselves. Plenty for Innman Grant to answer for by Australians though. It's a shame Mary Bruce didn't ask Trump and Netanyahu why they assassinated 275 journalists.
Khashoggi wasn't just a journalist, he was into some bad stuff. Posted by Armchair Critic, Wednesday, 19 November 2025 8:32:56 PM

Hi AC,
The next step for journalists who ask Trump embarrassing questions, is to disappear late at night, never to be seen again, and never to ask another question. Leaving only the "good" journalist to ask the questions, like; "Mr President, why are you so wonderful? Answer; "Cause I am, and don't YOU forget it!" Well at least we're not as pathetic as the Europeans.
Formidable Estonia has issued an ultimatum to China: Either we or Russia http://eadaily.com/en/news/2025/11/12/formidable-estonia-has-issued-an-ultimatum-to-china-either-we-or-russia All these European leaders are going to be thrown out for nationalist governments soon, I'm not even sure NATO or the EU will survive. Till then we get these fearmongering yapping chihuahua's acting like rottweilers, all lying to their own people. The EU is a clownshow, the Brits included. It's kind of good to watch it all fall apart though. All these leaders have got to go, and countries need to start putting their own people first. America has become so desperate it demands Tributes or threatens higher tariffs. America the drowning man. What does Russia, Iran and Venezuela have in common? America wants to knock off an oil rich country to fix its debt problems. Venezuela's worth 19 tln in oil and resources. America's just looking for countries to knock over and loot. Trump even admits it. http://x.com/Acyn/status/1667682589333659648 Posted by Armchair Critic, Thursday, 20 November 2025 8:02:44 PM

She is described as a “zealot for global takedowns”.
The letter, said to have been delivered on 18th November, requests attendance by 2nd December.
The letter states that Inman Grant's “claim of extraterritorial jurisdiction to censor speech outside of Australia” directly threatens American speech.
I would have thought that the Albanese government, whose creature this public servant is, should have been approached, but there it is.
Full story here:
http://www.skynews.com.au/world-news/united-states/esafety-commissioner-julie-inman-grant-called-to-testify-before-us-congress-by-donald-trump-ally-over-threat-to-americans-free-speech/news-story/c232d406b9a58089bf94240cb3b425d3
Inman Grant will not be renewing her contract, thankfully. Much of her arrogant nonsense has been a flop; and the December 10 under 16 law looks like being an unworkable mess.
Any thought that what Australians do is not US business should be tempered with the knowledge of the President's attitude to free speech and, like it or not, what he expects from his allies.
Hopefully her time on the taxpayer dollar will be a lesson for future governments trying to crush our freedoms.
