I as a progressive socialist would totally disagree with most of what Mr Gruter has to say, but he does have a right to say it, peacefully and without hateful intent. You said; "I don't think non-citizens should take part in protests." Mr Gruter is high profile, and easily identified, others not so, and all protests are not as "controversial" as this particular one. As for the influence of pressure groups within society, they are more dangerous than simple protesters when it comes to outcomes. I suspect in this case the Jewish lobby would have exerted pressure on the government to have this bloke kicked out. The extreme is a point where the government declares a citizen a "non-citizen" on character grounds, for disloyalty to the Fatherland, and then takes "appropriate" action...like the firing squad!

I'd probably disagree with most of what they said too.
But they do get my attention with the Israel lobby and Anti-Semitism laws.
I don't hate foreigners, don't particularly like the multicultural classification, or being labelled an immigrant when my families been here 12 generations, add 40,000 years for my part indigenous grandmother who died in a car accident before I was born.

More like-minded people and not so many so fast that Aussies are living in tents and can't afford rents. Albo should be locked up for that. I don't care about having pure white blood or any of that defending the white race NAZI stuff.
But I think if Black people can have TV programs called 'Living Black' then by some equal measure if some white one wanted to have a TV show 'Living white' it should be ok.

Don't particularly like mass immigration, and you couple that with gender and ethnicity quotas and the white male is being discriminated against. You could have a white kid grow up in a home with abusive alcoholics and then in fostor care subject to more abuse and some black person that grew up in a decent home with good parents would still whinge about white privilege and how they are disadvantaged.

- I don't know any of them, maybe that Sewell bloke I recognise his name... but its about 'punishment' needing some poor sod to vilify, made to lose their job, and make an example of.

They couldn't allow that protest to pass without making an example of someone, cost him his job, his employer, even identify and go after the girlfriend so she can be vilified and embarrassed as well.

- Exactly, and they are the ones making recommendations about law changes than benefit themselves.

It kind of offends me that there's a genocide going on, many Jews support Israel in what is happening, but carry on like everyone else is just being mean. Obviously people aren't happy about what we've seen on tv, I don't think any laws regarding anti-semitism should be enacted during Israels genocide, not sure Jews themselves should decide them. The laws won't be rolled back when its over... in another 100 years probably.

History shows that conservatives are willing to jump into bed with these kindred sprites of theirs, just take a look at some of the comments from so called conservatives, and you will see how their views often align with the views of the radical right, on such things as immigration, minorities, rule of law etc.
